Overview
Key activities of the project included; sensitization of chiefs, headmen and religious leaders through multimedia and dialogues, sensitization of service providers through training sessions and workshops, identification, database creation of transgender and intersex person’s database, sensitization of transgender and intersex person on, health and human rights through advocacy platforms and life skills training for transgender and intersex persons.30 Transgender persons were trained on candle making and established their own small businesses.

Going the last mile towards ending HIV, April 2020-September 2023 [Completed]- PEPFAR
Overview
Going the Last Mile for HIV Control programme aimed to sustain the reduction in HIV incidence and to accelerate the HIV response for epidemic control in Zimbabwe. The program strengthened the national HIV response by developing and implementing client-centered solutions for achieving the 95-95-95 targets and ensuring district-level coverage of priority key populations (KP) in this case , the Transgender persons, with the right package of HIV biomedical prevention interventions to meet their needs. Improve data systems and use to inform better, faster programmatic decisions.

Overview
The program aimed at amplifying community voices for better and improved health care service delivery in Zimbabwe in particular towards HIV and AIDS service delivery. It was anchored on the key principle of leaving no one behind in ending HIV and AIDS hence the inclusion of communities in their diversity including key and vulnerable populations (KVP), particularly the transgender community.
